Join in with the SMHAF August Tree Trail

The Tree Trail is an opportunity to take part in an interactive, geolocated, sound walk designed by Walking Artist and Eco-therapist Stephanie Whitelaw.

The trail will run from 01/06/2020 - 08/06/2020 and will allow visitors to journey amongst the trees within Craigmillar Castle Park - from nature’s perspective!

Tree Trail will be platformed through the ViewRanger application, where participants will gain access to the mapped trail and audio stories geolocated within Craigmillar’s trees. The Tree Trail will start from Bridgend Farmhouse, taking you on a circular route through the park. Journey from tree to tree and unlock new sound!

The trail will be made available on August 1st. Links for ViewRanger will be shared through both the Bridgend Farmhouse Facebook page and our Edinburgh Thrive channels.

To take part, participants must have mobile device, headphones and a working GPS to track the trail.
