It's time to launch Easy Sundays

It's all about Easy Sundays at the Scottish Storytelling Centre

Join us for a new monthly session of stories, music, community and friendship where a warm welcome awaits with a variety of activities for all the family to enjoy.

So come find a space to relax amongst friends, old and new or take part in our rolling programme of events throughout the day, whatever the mood takes you.

Sunday 9 October | 12-3pm

Super Duper Story Generators: 12pm-2pm (30min sessions) | Ages 3+

Join storyteller Beth Hamilton-Cardus from Good Yarns for an epically interactive story session that’s 100% powered by YOUR imagination. During each 30min session Beth will work with small groups to create a tale that's bespoke to them. Maybe you want astronaut princesses, haunted bus stops, badgers making ice-cream (!) or something completely different - wherever the adventure goes is totally up to you!

Family Ceilidh: 1.30pm-3pm | Free (ticketed) | Ages 3+

Come with family and friends to dance Scottish dances and sing well-known songs with the Minnow Ceilidh Band. All dances will be called and there'll be easy-to-follow circles for wee ones. A fun introduction to sociable dancing with live music and some stories too.

The Conversation Table: 12pm-3pm | Non-ticketed | All Ages

Join us at the Conversation Table to spend some time in the joy of conversation, talking and listening and making connections. This month's theme is 'Your Favourite' which could be music, song, books, holidays and on...!

Supported by the Thrive Network alongside the Scottish Storytelling Centre to create a warm and welcoming space for the community.
